Office of the Seniors Advocate

The Office of the Seniors Advocate was established in 2014 as an independent office of the provincial government.

The Seniors Advocate's role is to monitor seniors' services within B.C and promote awareness of seniors' issues and supports by engaging seniors, stakeholders and the public, and working collaboratively to identify solutions and recommendations to government. The Advocate focuses on key seniors' issues including: healthcare, personal care, housing, transportation and income support.
