Who we Are:

Nursing in British Columbia has been a self-governing profession since 1918. Under provincial legislation (Health Professions Act), it is the duty of CRNBC to protect the public through regulation of registered nurses, nurse practitioners, and licensed graduate nurses.

What we do:

CRNBC's legal obligation is to protect the public through the regulation of registered nurses and nurse practitioners. This includes registering nurses, setting standards of practice, assessing nursing education programs in B.C. and addressing complaints about CRNBC registrants.
